Right in the heart of downtown Asheville, Alyssa and Derrick’s wedding at the Century Room was the perfect mix of urban charm and timeless celebration. From their rooftop portraits to the high-energy dancefloor, every moment felt fresh and full of love.

A Ceremony Upstairs in the City
Tim officiated with a warm and personal touch as Alyssa and Derrick said “I do” surrounded by family, friends, and historic downtown architecture. I provided mic support and a curated prelude mix to set the mood as guests arrived. Once the couple walked back up the aisle, the celebration was officially on.

Cocktail Hour with a View
Guests transitioned to the open-air terrace overlooking the streets of Asheville. I spun a vibe-forward mix of acoustic soul, instrumental jazz, and indie favorites to keep things smooth and social while the sun started its descent behind the city skyline.

Reception – Downtown, Dialed In
Once the party moved inside, the energy turned all the way up. Alyssa and Derrick’s crowd came to move, and I matched the momentum with a blend of pop, dance, R&B, and throwback hits—all mixed live with smooth transitions and intentional pacing. From the first dance to the final shout-along, the Century Room was fully alive.
