Rebecca and Sam’s wedding at Highland Brewery was a celebration of great beer, gorgeous views, and a wildly fun dancefloor. This spring wedding brought together an amazing crowd ready to party—and with one of Asheville’s most iconic venues as the backdrop, it was nothing short of unforgettable.

Ceremony on the Rooftop
Officiated by Jaime, the ceremony took place on Highland’s rooftop patio, with mountain views stretching into the distance. I provided full mic support, and the pre-ceremony playlist perfectly matched the fresh air and natural beauty of the setting. As Rebecca walked down the aisle, the whole space stilled—emotional and intentional.

Cocktail Hour on the Rooftop
Following the ceremony, guests stayed the brewery’s rooftop for cocktail hour. They requested and I curated a playlist of Classic Rock and Country, which set a fun and upbeat tone while guests mingled, grabbed drinks, and took in the view.

Reception – Beer, Bass, and Big Moves
Once inside for the reception, it was game on. Becca and Sam’s people came to dance. I built a set of pop, funk, and dancefloor classics, mixing in some rock favorites and personal picks that got big reactions. From singalongs to full-on jumping, the energy never dropped. The space was buzzing, and Highland’s ambiance made every beat hit just right.
